Supervision for Spiritual Companions

Supervision is an integral part of our practice of spiritual companioning, for our own reflection and ethical care for our seekers. I abide by the Spiritual Directors International Guidelines for Ethical Conduct found here and invite you to read and consider them.  

 

My approach to supervision is interspiritual and focused on honoring your inner work so that you can continue to grow personally, spiritually and with depth in your practice of spiritual companioning.

 

My supervision experience includes:

-Supervision Training with Lucy Abbott Tucker (2022)

-1-1 and Group Supervision of Interns at the Spiritual Life Center of West Hartford, CT. 

-Three Years of Group Supervision for Year II of Oasis Ministries Spiritual Direction for Spiritual Guides Program and currently.

-Two Years 1-1 Supervision Experience with One Spirit Learning Alliance: Interspiritual Counseling and Companioning (2022-2024)

-Spiritual Companioning Training with Oasis Ministries and Deepening Year (2021, 2022)

- Master's of Theological Studies (2017)

-5 Units of Clinical Pastoral Education

-Professional work as a Palliative Care and Trauma Chaplain. I am a Certified Forest Bathing Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy. I serve as Dean for Oasis Ministries for Spiritual Development Spiritual Direction Program Year II and Team Teacher for the Spiritual Life Center of West Hartford Spiritual Companioning Program 

 

I currently offer 1-1 supervision for spiritual companions and spiritual directors. With enough interest, I will begin a supervision group. My usual rate is $75/hour. I do ask that supervisees prepare a reflection form prior to sessions and email it to me so we can both reflect on your practice of spiritual companioning before our session.
